Sunday sessions #6
Happy Sunday!
highlights of this week:
streamed for 2 days
Something I never planned but just felt like doing. I even started practicing my movement again, hoping to start another small and temporary training session. It was fun and I’m getting back on the groove! I’m excited to stream more next week.drew personal emotes
I learned that I can now upload 40 total emotes on twitch (20 static, 20 animated) which got me a little excited to redraw my OC and emote line up so that’s what I’m doing.drew wraith emotes
I also started drawing some wraith emotes to sell online. I need to make some money somehow, and this is one that I found would be a nice little passive income. I’m 70% finished.drafted my first project
I have some ideas and topics written down, planned what the project was all about and all that. But I still haven’t started actually making it. The planning stage is always the hardest to get through.wrote more blogs
I wrote some more blogs this week and recently posted a very intimate, vulnerable one. It felt therapeutic. I’m grateful to have found this platform.read more Substack essays
I read and found more wonderful essays on Substack. I also found some hot takes regarding AI, which I desperately tried so hard to ignore. Out of all the places, this was the one I expected would respect the creativity of arts the most. Surprised some people use AI images for their thumbnails (quite disappointing).a week streak of treadmill
I walked on the treadmill for the whole week. Good job, me!went to the bookstore today
I love drowning in the scent of books and paper (or visual allure, as this bookstore lacked any of the reminiscent old-paper scent I used to sniff heavily). I always feel inspired to create something every time im surrounded by books. I can’t wait to afford more in the future and start collecting again.bought 2 more books (just today)
I now have a total of 6 fresh new books to read! I got a manga (art is pretty and story sounds interesting) and a poetry book by Lana (it got me hooked after the first few lines). I’m so excited to spend the next few weeks reading! (I don’t know where to start!)
notes:
watched Parasyte: the grey
I haven’t watched nor read the source material but I knew of its existence. We binged it in 2 days and it was really good. The ending was a solid banger.found a new favorite chip
After stocking up on some chips I found a new favorite. Teriyaki chicken flavor chips from regent! It’s so good, savory and not too salty you can just munch endlessly, and reminiscent of an old classic flavor from the PH. I found a great alternative to my current expensive ass chip (Irvin’s salted egg)mango is good
I also rediscovered the taste of mango flavor and now it’s been added to my staple okay-list for my tastebuds (along with the only other fruit flavor lychee).
A few days ago, I posted a very intimate and vulnerable blog post talking about my current (mostly financial) situation. I took a break from working on projects (I had to postpone streams) and yet I feel like I still haven’t contemplated enough to fully address the issues nor found decent solutions to the problem.
That’s why next week, I want to start fresh and focus a little more on the most dreadful aspect of my life (I’m just being dramatic but yes it’s time to be more financial responsible).
goal for next week:
- look at the project?
- apply to interesting jobs
- figure out a way to get money somehow
- read some of the new books I got
- finish the wraith emotes I started
