The return to something insignificant

January highlights  ๑˚⊹

One of my resolutions this year is to live more in the present, and the best way for me is to keep track of the little things and accomplishments that happened each month. This habit motivates me to do something every month instead of rotting in my brain. (꒪˙꒳˙꒪

January was a very slow month in terms of project progress. But here are the things that I was successfully able to start and plan!

Started and completed my first month of doing daily reels!

I'm working on being more consistent and developing a daily habit through posting daily snippets of my life through reels on Tiktok and Instagram. This is perfect for reminiscing what I've been up to each day as well as keeping myself busy, mindful, and accountable for my actions and taking one small step each day towards my goals.

Got another game key to review!

I received a review copy of this game called Return from Core. One of the things I wanted to try was making content for game devs. This was a great learning experience and I really appreciate the opportunity!

Got a new phone!

One of my wishlists/goals for 2024 was to get a new phone, and I finally got one! I settled with an iPhone despite being an Android fan for years in hopes that the camera quality would be much better. I also have an iPad, so I can benefit from its features like Airdrop when trying to transfer media files everywhere. Big thanks to my duo for this early birthday gift~

Got a Nintendo Switch!

Got gifted a Nintendo Switch by my favorite person. I played Egglia Rebirth and Dorfromantik for the first month. I also tried Apex on it, and it's comically ridiculous. I have Animal Crossing, Fae Farm, and Ace Attorney on my backlog.

Started planning my website

There was no action, only thoughts. I designed and wireframed what I want it to look like, and brainstormed some content. I was determined to start building and coding by next month.

Sketched something

Drawing a sketch WIP is better than nothing!

Miscellaneous

Tried a few games, watched a few kdrama shows, streamed very rarely, took some photoshoots, applied to some job posts, got obsessed with Irvins chips, I think I tried working on stuff but all I could really do was plan. I also made a lot of drinks for homemade shenanigans and saved a few bucks not buying milk tea~
